はじめに
今回は海底二万マイルの劇中歌「A Whale Of A Tale 」を和訳しました。A Whale ofは直訳すると「クジラの」という意味ですが、この場合「大きな」と言う熟語になります。銛打ちのネッドが歌うにはぴったりな曲ですね！
実は映画版と最新版の歌詞では、3番が丸々変更になっています。読み進めて頂くと分かるのですが、旧歌詞では容姿をネタにする内容になっており、あまりに時代にそぐわない為、変更になったようです。
