アラビアンコーストのテーマ曲の歌詞と和訳

はじめに

サラーム！カレーの匂いと多彩な音楽、そして作り込まれた世界観。小さい頃のパークでの思い出を思い返すと、なぜかアラビアンコーストが浮かんできます。今回はアラビアンコーストのテーマ曲を、私なりに和訳してみました。

和訳

Marching onward following our dream
of a land in the sand
砂に満ちた夢の王国へ、歩みを進める

It’s a land where nothings what it seems
見たこともないその土地は

filled with gold like tales of old
昔話のように黄金に満ちているらしい

So we trek over mountainous dunes
山のような砂丘を超え旅をする

だが、早めにオアシスを見つけなければ

Or end up crawling looking like a ghost
でなきゃ亡霊のように地を這うことになる

As we caravan in search of the Arabian Coast!

アラビアンコーストで魔人と共に

あとがき

なんだか人間の欲、みたいな物が感じられる、ダークな雰囲気が漂う曲です。開園当時のシンドバッドを思い返してみると、アラビアンコーストは影を感じさせるコンセプトが合ったのかも知れませんね。最後までお読み頂き、ありがとう御座いました！
